Hello,
I recently helped my mother purchase a used 2021 RX. She is in another state and she has an android phone. What size is the cable port to run Android Auto? Is it USB A or C? I thought it was A, but she says the cable doesn't fit.

The USB ports are USB A on the 2021 (and all 4th gens, as far as I can tell.) Note that there are two sets of USB ports; 2 at the base of the center instrument stack and 2 under the lid of the center console. The only ones that support data connections are the ones in the CENTER CONSOLE. The two in the instrument stack provide only power. (Dumb, I know.)

* Do your Mom a favor and have her get an AAWireless device and plug it into a center console port. It creates a wireless Android Auto connection and is nearly flawless.
