Default A pillar Trim

Hello everyone,
Any idea on how to remove and put back driver-side A pillar trim. I want to install a dash cam and was looking to do hard wiring. I attempted to pull out the A pillar trim from the top to find out where the airbag is

but could not put back

thanks

Ooof. Sorry I don’t have any suggestions. Hardwired my dashcam down the A pillar as well but did not remove the trim panel.

There’s a one-time use clip according to Toyota but you can turn its head 45 deegres and then you can remove the trim. You need some sharp pliers to do that.

Thanks guys. I was able to find a clip for a Rav4 that has the same trim clips. I was able to put it back

Actually you don't need to turn it to remove. If you turn it, you will more likely break the clip.
You push the clip from left and right using a small screw driver and the whole clip which is still attached to the trim comes off...
That rav4 video is really helpful.
I just installed my dashcam a few weeks ago as well and used that method.

I only installed the front camera as I did not want to rip out/disturb the trim panels in order to run the wiring from the rear to the front camera. My front wiring was neatly tucked and concealed then hardwired into the fuse panel under the dash.
