Hello mates,

I have a 2021 IS300 3.5L 6 CYL F-SPORT and am considering upgrading the air intake system. While I have read that the F-SPORT model typically produces a good engine sound, sometimes even better with the stock intake, my vehicle is notably quiet both inside the cabin and outside, I can barely hear anything at all.

Would adding an aftermarket air intake significantly enhance the engine sound? Additionally, I have encountered difficulty finding compatible air intake systems specifically for the 2021 IS300. Most available options are for the IS350 or different year models of the IS300. Could air intake systems designed for the 2022, 2023, or 2024 IS300 be compatible with my 2021 model?

Shop for your year model IS350, its all the same under the hood as your 300.
I favor keeping an air box so I went with the F Sport aftermarket intake system. It does not change the induction system sound significantly. Nor does it change the engine power output significantly but does sharpen up the throttle response a bit. You may want to consider the aftermarket F Sport axleback exhaust for a real difference in sound while keeping it civilized.
