Does anyone know how to switch off the Rear seat reminder off?

my concern is the 6 loud beeps that come when you lock the car every time

My new RX does exactly the same and I think I found the solution, maybe RZ and RX are the same... Reading the RX manual it states there is a 2-stage alert, first is the message on the meters screen. Second is the loud beeps when you lock the car. The wording suggests the warning can be deactivated at the first stage - When this function is disabled by following the message displayed on the meters, the passenger and rear seat reminder will be off.

The on-screen message ends with the words "Mute alert? OK" and the bottom button on the left-side steering-wheel pad is shown as "OK". Pressing it does seem to cancel the second stage alert. Hope that helps.
