Default Brake Actuator Assembly - Noise

I recently purchased a 2017 LS460. Paid for a PPI at the Lexus dealer that has maintained this car.

They made a note about brake ABS actuator making noise.

Apparently there is an extended warranty for this but only if their are system fault codes.

Is anyone aware of a customer courtesy campaign by Lexus to replace the unit due to the annoying noise it makes?

Change the brake fluid, it might help with the noise.

Need more specific info on noise. Is the pump turning on constantly? Something else?

Got brake actuator replaced under the warranty on my 2017 LS460 earlier this year. Was making some burping noise when stepped on the brakes. No codes, no faults. Dealer flushed the system at first, when I came back with the same complain dealer replaced the actuator and the noise went away. Service advisor told me there's some kind of bulletin on this matter.

Can this be done by an independent mechanic? or dealer preferred?

Thank you.

Thank you.
I had brake fluid flushed by independent shop. There's nothing crazy about it as long as this shop has Techstream. The catch is that the dealer most likely would not recognize it and in order for the actuator to be replaced under the warranty it would have to be flushed at the dealer, just because this is a "step #1" in their warranty claim procedure. This is how it happened in my case. When I mentioned to the dealer that the brake system was flushed at another shop I was told that they have to do it themselves, just to make sure it was done correctly. In my case it was still making noise and the actuator got replaced. If you using decent shop then the cost of this procedure is going to be very close to the dealer (probably few hours of labor and the fluid) . Might as well go straight to the dealer.
