Default Where To Pchs Tires? Recommend Mfg?

2016 GX 460 driven primarily around town by 65 year old couple. Summer temps up to 100, and winter below 0. In past have Michelin tires from Sam's Club.

Where do you recommend for next purchase? Michelin ok?

Thanks.

We are now on Michelin Defender LTX M/S, happy with them, but little more noisy compare to Dunlop that the GX came with.
there is now the new Defender LTX M/S2 released, maybe sound levels have been improved.
Have the 19" if you have 18" there are way more options.

what he said, i currently have the crossclimate2 and not really impressed. theyre not bad, i just cant justify the higher cost over the defenders. as for where to buy, costco, free rotation and good warranty. but itll come down to you and what available locally.

Michelin Defender LTX from Discount or Costco. Keep an eye out for occasional sales on Michelins.

Michelin Defender LTX are amazing, and have finally resolved ( well, mostly ) the steering vibrations between 55 - 70 mph.

I would not recommend Costco for tires anymore, especially after having to deal with their warranty process. Plus, if you ever need road force balancing, Costco doesn't have the equipment for it.

I would go to Discount Tire ( and they will price match any Costco, Sams, online retailer et al ) and opt for the certificates ( their version of an extended warranty and this has been useful, at least for me, in that it covers unlimited Road Force Balancing for free for as long as you own said tires )

Plus, in comparison to Costco, Discount Tire actually honors scheduled reservations and gets you in/out fast.
