Default smoked or darker headlight and tail light options?

My wife prefers black rims and instead of getting a new car we decided to swap out the rims on our black 2008 RX400h to black rims. The style is very similar to factory and we like the look. However, it does seem now that the headlight and taillight assemblies might match better if they were smoked or darker, as opposed to silver/clear. Note: the headlights have the auto leveling feature when you start the car.

I attached a picture of how the rims look. Please ignore the fact that the car is pretty dirty at the moment

I'm sure there are various aftermarket options for replacement taillights and headlights for this car, but does anyone have any specific recommendations and/or have replaced theirs with darker options?

Thanks for any tips or suggestions!

I have used 3m or Gerber tape as a wrap and if you don’t like it it is removable.

Thanks I'll check out the wrap option.

I was looking at the headlights closer yesterday and they are starting to fog. The back ones are fine.

Any recommendations on aftermarket replacements? My headlights are the HID ones with AFS.

Thanks!

For $16 and less than and an hours time I made mine look like new using Cerakote. You can get it at Amazon or Walmart. Worked way better than other tools/kits I used previously

I've used "Nite Shades" to darken headlights and taillights before. I like the option of a film though as you could remove it if you wanted to.
