Default Purchase Advice 2022 Inspiration

Hi, I've been looking to buy an LC coupe since I sold my RCF a year ago. I've found a certified 2022 LC500 Inspiration coupe listed at $99,500. I wanted something with the Dynamic Handling Package, but the Inspiration only comes with the Touring package.

What are your thoughts on the price, and should I hold out for the options I want, or will I not miss the Dynamic package?

Thank you for your insight and advice!!!

My advice would be find a way to drive one with DH package and one without and decide if it's a make or break feature for you.

If you're dropping 100k on a vehicle it should be 100% what you desire it to be.

I own the same car ('22 Inspiration coupe) for just under a year now, love it. I love the color combo (silver is one of my fav exterior colors) and the wine red / black interior is awesome. Classy and subtle without being too loud like some of the other exterior / interior colors. I also had an '02 IS300, '12 ISF, so having the '22 LC500 was kind of a pattern for me.

I love the rims, they're the best looking wheels that Lexus has put on these cars (IMO) and that was a big selling point for me. I'd imagine you can get that price down and should be able to get OTD for under that list, pending miles, etc.

I agree with @np20412 you may want to drive one with the DH package and see if matters that much to you to make you look at a different car? I can tell you the one you're looking at drives very well and is a quite capable car. No matter what you choose, best of luck and enjoy!

I think when I was looking I ruled out all cars with the Touring package because that meant no limited slip, but the experts can chime in and correct me if I'm wrong on that.

The one I went with just happened to have the handling package and I love it...other than the fact that when I drive my other cars I have to re-adjust! Lol

I'd agree with the other posters saying get what you want and be patient. A handling package isn't a simple thing to just add on later

All inspiration and bespoke builds comes with LSD.
These inspiration and bespoke are not just touring package. It has all the touring package and more. It’s basically a DHP package without the VGRS and rear wheel steer. But it does have dark chrome trim as an option that you can’t get in DPH or touring.
Lexus packages are all over the map.

I’ve test driven the LC no less than 4 time since 2018. Everytime it was one with DHP because that what I wanted. Ended up buying a Bespoke model(no vgrs, no rws) in 2024. Of course, if the vgrs and rws options were available on bespoke model, I would get them. However, it is what it is.
99.9% of the time, the rws won’t matter. Do you remember when was the last time you have to do a 3 point turn. Or unable to make a U-turn? Most legal U-turns are design such that the biggest car on the road can make it. Switching lane on the highway? C’mon.
Not to justify my purchase but I prefer the dark chrome trim which is found only on the bespoke and inspiration over the DHP. It’s an instant difference in visual. The blacked out grill, darken chrome on headlights and taillights really enhance the look of the LC to me.

Is the mirror insert normal chrome like the katanas or is that one dark chrome as well? I know the inspiration has that mirror chrome dark, but not sure about the bespoke dark chrome option?

The katanas, mirror trim, and exhaust diffuser trim are traditional chrome pieces.
A little chrome is nice right?

Hehe thanks for the confirm. I'll plan accordingly to eliminate. As it stands I'm considering only keeping the katanas as chrome since they are purposefully designed as such in order to be visible, and are a nice reference to the japanese roots of the car. Wrapping them will cause them to basically disappear into the carbon roof.
