Seems like no spark or bad timing.
Take out teh most convenient spark plug and lay it on the engine block and test it it is sparking.
Also try staring with another key.
Please share the status of security light.

It went on a Rollback Tia mechanics shop where they checked the fuel pressure , No Codes .
they haven’t figured it out yet. I will have to wait until Monday to try a different key and get you
status of security light.
thanks!

I hope you have gone to a good shop. I am no mechanic, but you smell unburnt gas, then fuel delivery would be the last item in the necessary list of fuel, air, spark & timing.
If a key successfully started your engine in the past, the same key should [in theory] work now.

PS: Codes are predominately related to emissions. For the basic engine run conditions, they don't show up. These were mandated in '95 and the first gen was barely released. Although Toyota/Lexus had diagnostic port for Toyota vehicles a little before.

You are not agreeing with the cost/price or the diagnosis? Maxsteel has given you the way to confirm diagnosis.
We have a DIY on cleaning IACV and you can call for pricing of a new valve.
With all DIYs there is a chance of things going wrong and the soft screw heads have caused problems. Know your capabilities and how you will hand adversity before rolling up your sleeves. [Having proper tools helps]. Sometimes the cleaning helps and if the valve is broken, you have to purchase the unit.
