2nd generation supension
I have a 2015 nx200t and like everything about it other than the harsh ride on rough roads. Thinking about getting a 2024 350 nx. I haven't road tested one yet. Reviews of the 2nd generation Nx say the ride is smoother. Is that right?

My opinion exactly. The ride is fine, but rough/broken roads, speed bumps, or railroad tracks remind you this isn't an RX (I also haven't driving a 1st gen NX). I came from an RX and it handled those rougher situations more comfortably. The NX certainly isn't terrible on the rough stuff, but I find I usually shave an additional 10mph off speed when approaching a rough area as compared when I had my RX.

In my experience, the new car handling road is about the same as the old one (but, I think, F Sport' suspensions are sharper than Luxury or Sports Luxury).
What I absolutely love - is a much smaller turning radius!

I've owned 2015 NX200t, 2018 NX300 FSport and now 2022 NX450h+ FSport.
From 2015 to 2018, the ride is not that big of a difference cos my FSport did not have the AVS. 2018 is a bit more quieter than the 2015. Now the 2022 NX which is very different as it's a PHEV. The car is quieter over the previous two NXs. It does handle over bumpy and rough roads better. Keep in mind my NX does have AVS, which can't be compared to 2nd gen NX without. Some may say there is not that big of a difference, but I do feel the difference between the car without and with.
You really need to drive your current NX on a road you feel it performs badly and then go test drive it on the same road. Then you'll notice the difference if any.

My NX 350h Takumi rides so much smoother and enjoyable with 4 passengers or 2 passengers with luggage.
with me on my own or just me and the wife it seems to pitch more and you feel the road bumps. - 20 inch wheels with run flats.

I have the 20" wheels on the 2024 Lexus NX350h. IMO, the ride is smooth and conforming.
