Hello fellow enthusiasts,

Someone broke my left outside mirror, which means it needs to be replaced.

I have now found a mirror (in the right color), but it comes from an IS220D. It seems to be compatible with my IS250 from 2008.

Unfortunately, I can't find the part number of my mirror..

Details of my car:
IS250
Year of manufacture 2008

Details of the donor car:
OUTSIDE MIRROR LEFT LEXUS IS II (_E2_) 220D (ALE20) 8796153190​

Can anyone tell me more about this?
Then I can safely order and go on vacation.

Put the PN into most any website and look at the 'where used' application list. If it shows a long list of cars, then you know your chances are good.

 

It's quite easy to tell. Check if your mirrors have turn signals built in or not.

 

IS220D mirror will fit on an is250. Just make sure it is from the same LHD car if yours is also LHD vice versa, RHD car should source mirror from RHD car.. For example, driver side (left) mirror on a LHD is not the same as Passenger side (also left) mirror on a RHD car. The internal housing angle is a bit off between them.
