I wanted to start this thread to get some feed back from current LX owners in comparing the LX 600 to the new GX 550. I currently own the LX 600 F Sport and love it. I switched the wheels and tires to 18 inch lexus black wheels and installed BF GOODRICH KO2 Tires on the LX and I find it very off road capable and really good in deep snow unplowed, 12-14 inches. And I have found that with the AHC I gain great approach and departure angles as well, and when I measure the ground clearance at the rear Diff. I am getting 9-9.5 inches, which is better than the GX 550 and better than the advertised 8 inches. The LX also drives great on pavement.
I have driven the new GX and the LC First edition, and I really liked them both, but I could not see either of them being better than the LX. In my opinion the LX is built better, has better interior materials, better fit and finish, and the exterior seems better built and bolted together as well.
Alot of the social media reviewers trash the LX, but love the GX. Is there something I am missing ?

They don’t have the funds available for an LX or want a specialty toy.
I already have a tricked out truck and wanted something more muted so I didn’t consider the GX.
I looked at both too and the LX has better fit and finish.
One thing unique about the Fsport is world wide this is the only one with the rear Torsen. Really works better for my use, not going rock crawling and is more useable compared to a locker. I have a ranch and construction company so yes it gets used. And I would much rather have a Torsen or Trutrac in my F250 than the Elocker, so speaking from experience.
