I read here in the maintenance sticky that it takes 3 quarts of transmission fluid for a drain and fill along with 3 gaskets for the drain and fill plugs.
I just had a drain and fill done and they charged me for 6 quarts and no mention of the gaskets.
I'm concerned they overfilled my 2014 GX460.
Work was done by local Toyota Dealer.

 

Either there were 2 drain and fills done or trans was short 3qts to begin with…. Gaskets don’t have to be changed but good practice to at least change drain and check gaskets Fill gasket is rubber and doesn’t have to be changed unless there is damage to it.
