Default Error codes

Hello. I am buying a used 2010 RX450h. I ran a diagnostic on it and I got 3 error codes. C1241 C1300 and C1568. I am worried that the hybrid battery may not have a lot of life left. Or I could run into a very costly repair. We put down a down payment but are really worried about going ahead with the purchase. If anyone can help we would really appreciate it. Thanks

Always get an independent inspection of any used car you are considering.
You can Google the codes to learn more, or search them on YouTube or this site. Those codes indicate potentially very expensive repairs to the battery etc. I would not buy that vehicle.
15 years is a long time for a battery.
This thread has more information regarding those codes and none of it is good for you buying this vehicle. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...and-c1241.html
You should keep looking for a different vehicle that does not possibly need a new hybrid battery or other expensive repairs.
Also post the mileage along with the year of any vehicle on which you have questions. Better to spend more up front for something newer with lower mileage that has less possibility of needing repair.

If you have the VIN you can go the the Lexus Drivers Site, join for free and after entering the VIN look up the dealer service history.
I do this for all used Lexus or Toyota vehicles (Toyota has a similar site).
Be warned that the site is sometimes cranky about finding service histories.
https://www.lexus.com/My-Lexus/account/create-account

To see the service history at Lexus Drivers do the following:
On the page that lists the car whose VIN you entered there will be a line that states
Vehicle Health Report
Learn More - click this box
Then on the next page it will state
My Service
On the right side it will state Service History
View History - click this box to see the service history
The it will slowly take you to a page you need to scroll down to see the service history
Each entry will be a line, click on the + at the side to see more about each entry

Default Thanks so much for this information

After reading more on the codes I agree this might be a purchase I will pass on. I tried joining Lexus drives and was successful. However it didn’t have any service history

It appears you are correct, but based on further research into these codes as pasted below, something could be seriously wrong with this vehicle to cause these low or high voltage codes. Or it may just need a new 12 volt battery and the codes cleared. A pre-purchase inspection should be able to figure this out. However, I would keep looking because whoever is selling this vehicle should have taken care of this before selling, or knows it is something worse, stuck a bandaid on it and is trying to unload it before it craters.
Run away from this vehicle. There are no shortages of used RX450h vehicles out there.
The 2012-2015 ones have a mild facelift and tech refresh and are more desireable.

I quickly found this regarding the codes and although some relates to voltage there are obviously other things wrong to trigger these seemingly unrelated codes.

C1300, (ABS ECU malfunction) ABS Relay is often the culprit on hybrids

The C1241 code indicates a
low power supply voltage malfunction in the ABS system .
C1241 LEXUS Description: If there is a problem with the brake actuator assembly (Skid Control Electronic Control Unit) power supply circuit, the skid control ECU outputs the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) and prohibits under the fail safe function. If the voltage supplied to the terminal is not within the DTC detection threshold due to malfunction in such as the battery and alternator circuit, this DTC is stored.

The possible causes of this C1241 code include a low battery charge, faulty battery, faulty charging system, or faulty Skid Control ECU (Brake Actuator Assembly) . The C1241 is pointing a low voltage in the system. This can be the case of a weak battery, failing alternator or an internal problem with the Traction Control System Control Module (aka Skid ECU). So, first thing to check is the charging system. It could be that the 12 volt battery needs replacement.

C1568, DC TO DC CONVERTER. C1568 Toyota Code - Lock Holder Deviation Detection. Faulty Variable Gear Ratio Steering (VGRS) Actuator
Faulty Variable Gear Ratio Steering (VGRS) ECU

The Variable Gear Ratio Steering (VGRS) actuator contains a lock mechanism that mechanically locks the DC motor so the motor will not rotate if a failure occurs or when the engine is not running. The VGRS ECU supplies current to the lock solenoid to release the lock lever for VGRS operation.
When the VGRS ECU detects a malfunction in the lock holder, it turns the warning light on and records the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC).
