Default gasket sealer required for fuel pump in valve covers???

I recently changed my valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, and fuel pump gaskets (which go through the valve cover) on my 2008 Lexus LS 460. All turned out well except oil is still seeping seeping through the shaft of the fuel pump....very small just a few drops. I did not put any gasket sealer on the unit when I put it back in. I'm thinking that there must be some requirement for this as I don't have a shop manual and need to pull it back out and redo?? Does it require oil resistant gasket maker around the shaft of the fuel pump? Thank you, Doug.

Doug, I believe you are supposed to replace those black plastic spacers because they have integrated rubber gaskets on them. I had the same issue when I did my 2014. I didn't seal around the shaft but I did schmoo some gasket maker on the top and bottom surfaces of that black plastic spacer. I'm talking about this (https://www.lexuspartsnow.com/parts/...5-46011.html); Lexus 23915-46011 Insulator, Fuel Pump. Seems to be holding up just fine after 10,000 mi
