Default What the Hell is this ? It fell from the front of the car

Does anyone have any idea where this came from or what it is ? It looks like it broke off of another part. You can see it wrapped in copper wire.

Does Anyone know ?

Thanks.

Well, if it’s from your car and the recent repairs that have been done I would have a look at the actuators just in case. I’ve never had mine off so dont know what the motor assy looks like but that has a coil and a few connectors. Or it could be another turbo encapsulator load sensor.

I can’t tell if it’s 1” or 6” diameter. A ruler for size would help.

its the electronic part that connects to top of strut. so someone opened strut cover this fell out and they just closed it up. if you look it even bent the top of strut the metal part. is that even possible or is this something more like vandalism ?

That had to be damaged when the shock was out, the hood is aluminum and couldn't have done any damage to that bracket. Dropped I'm guessing...rolled off a bench ??smacked with a hammer?
