I actually tried the Durago electrophoretic coated rotors from rock auto this time around, and so far so good. stops well and no warpage.

I have had no problems ever with Centric and PowerStop, rotors and pads. Putting some PowerStop ceramic pads on the 3GS tomorrow, in fact. They are European made in fact, not cheap stuff. I have used Durago pads on my suv, no issues but not pushed hard.

It’s a bit funny about Akebono pads. They are held as the ultimate on this forum. On the Volvo forum I frequent also, they are considered vastly over-rated and to be avoided. Personally I’ve found them mediocre - not great or not bad.

What pads do the experts on this Volvo forum use?

This is Korea, but Koreans also like AKEBONO. I recently saw a review that the Australian product ICER PAD is good, but it's hard to buy

Thank you for your reply to the post about the rallyelexus part. I bought the strut at a low price of $529. It helps a lot to explain the rotor in such detail. And the link is 4P 334MM, right?

I am American, but I used to work for LG (even before it was called “LG”), and spent much of my time in Seoul. I am well aware of how marketing, price, and perception mean more than actual results in Korean consumer tastes. In fact, much, much more so than in America.
