Default Steering wheel squeak

Uugh, this is annoying. It just started not long ago. It happens intermittently but seems to be increasing in frequency.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I think it is the clock spring. Silicone spray would fix it.

Just blast it in there while turning the wheel, or do I need to take things apart for the spray to reach its target?
I haven't even looked back there to assess the setup.

I'd be weary of spraying anything in or around what could have implications towards airbag deployment... i'd take it to the dealer for diag and repair. clock springs are delicate.

Spray it first without removing the steering wheel.
