1st world problem here - but my ~2 month shifter **** already has a fair number of scratches on the top silver area. Why? Because I've always had the good/bad habit of resting my right hand on the shifter while driving (carry over from my manual transmission days). You'll laugh, but this was a criteria the M340i failed when I was comparing it to the IS500.
Anyway, are there any other shifter ***** from other Lexus models that come with either full leather all around or maybe black instead of silver? I see the RC F has a full leather shifter ****, but with red stitching. Anyone know if it does come with white stitching to match our cars and does it actually fit? The only other option I found is from the 2019 Anniversary edition, which comes in blue.
I also found the SHIFTIN ***** and I really like the piano black (matches the radio), but I'd rather get a genuine Lexus part over aftermarket, unless someone can vouch for their quality and durability.
Looking on ebay last night, I found a perfect-match OE style shift **** for the 09 GS for cheap (it’s Chinesium). Getting one. Maybe see if they have one for your car. Looked quality, reviews were good.
Does anyone know the part # for the blue Anniversary shift **** by any chance? I see that it's for sale online, but no part # to search for it elsewhere.
I would just go custom. You can then pick whatever color leather, Alcantara, and stitching you want. Check out Sweidit who I know
They have been doing this for years and do every interior piece you can think of. I'm thinking of getting my shift boot in Alcantara with stitching to match my USB2.0
