Default fuse box connection issue ?

I own a 2001 SC430 and I have electrical problems.
Randomly I lose the temperature screen as well as the possibility to open the roof.

I realize that gently hitting the lid of the passenger side fuse box would resolve the issue temporarily.
I have sprayed some contact cleaning and all fuses are ok.

Have you ever heard something similar ? A lose connection on the fuse box ?

Thanks for your help

Seb

Yes. But not really as a workmanship defect. I would look for critter tracks. The car I am assuming has never been flooded but check the carpet for moisture. The fact that the fuse didn't blow is a plus but you may have to get your hands dirty to really inspect that box.
