Exclamation Fuel tank mileage decreased

Hello, I have 2017 IS300 3.5 and driving for 2.5 years 71k miles now. When i bought it, fuel tank range was 330-320 miles. But I noticed since last few month when i full the tank, I see 280 miles range so it's huge range decreased and this is cost a bomb. Did anybody has similar experience and how did you resolve it?

If there’s nothing wrong with the car, it would be the difference between your driving style and the previous owner. The car learns your style and adjusts the mileage prediction.
When I bought my other car, it was reporting a 420 mile range. After some time under my ownership, mileage was down to the 350 mile range. Took a couple thousand mile road trip last year, and mileage range was back up to 420.

It's just multiplying your current average MPG X the size of the tank. Sounds like your driving in a way that is less efficient and brining the average down. You can reset your current average anytime in the head unit. Nothing about 'the last owner' unless it was never reset.

Did you have the 60,000 mile service done ? Make sure to keep a clean air filter element in the air box and also keep the maf sensor clean.
Install new spark plugs if you haven’t and replace the pcv.

If this took place during the summer, it is common for mileage to drop during hot weather. Same thing with very cold weather.
