I am bias due to my horrible experience with them, but stay away from Keyes Lexus. Buncha scumbags who pull the rug under you right when you're at the paperwork.

Thanks for the heads up on Keyes Lexus.

The best discount I got is $3K for a 2024. Not great when 2025s are on the lot

In Southern California you can pretty much scratch finding a ES Ultra Luxury (of any model type) on a dealer's new car inventory listing. You can find some ES 300h Luxury cars listed but the majority of ES 300h vehicles on the dealers' new car listings is base plus premium package models.

Depending upon where in Southern California you're shopping, there's plenty of Lexus dealerships to choose from if you're will to travel somewhere up to 100 miles or so. Research the dealerships you looking at to see whether or not the dealership is one of those that include "part of the purchase price" non-Lexus "options" in their option and package listing for a vehicle. Non-Lexus options like Resistall Appearance Protection or IKON DLR connect are things to look for. I think pretty much all Lexus dealers have add ons they try to sell you but the better ones don't try to include those add ons as a non removal part of the purchase price.

P.S. The IKON DLR connect add on I've seen in some purchase price option listings is one of the more useless dealer add ons I've seen. Every Lexus ES includes Connected Services with "free" trial periods that in conjunction with the free Lexus app provide everything IKON DLR connect does and more.

Reached out to a few dealers from South bay to Riverside to Valencia, best they can do via email is $3K for 2024. I want a white car this time. SoCal is hot. But most white ES300H has all black interior. Thoughts on black leather in summer?

I might order a 2025 to get Palomino or light color interior.

I live in Southern California where it gets toasty but not oven hot like the high desert regions in the summer. My ES has a black interior with Nightfall Mica exterior color and I most always leave the panoramic glass roof's sunshade retracted. For the times it is parked outside in full summer sunlight, the interior does get hot but I haven't experienced any of the interior surfaces you normally touch as being too hot to touch or grasp. Just opening a door lets the worst of the built up interior hot air escape. The ES's air condition system is great in cooling down a hot car fairly quickly so as soon as you start the vehicle you get pretty cold air blasting out of the vents cooling the interior down.

A previous car I owned had a black interior with no roof glass at all and a so-so air conditioning system. Took forever to get the interior cooled down during the summer months. The ES's air conditioning system is much, much better than that one was. Depending upon how low you've set the climate control temperature, the system gets a hot car cooled down in a short time. (It is quick enough that the cool down time isn't long enough that I've formed a conscious idea of how long it takes.)

P.S. When researching Lexus dealers while (2019) shopping for my 2019 Lexus ES, I saw some pretty negative reviews for the Riverside Lexus dealership so I avoided buying from them. (Looking at some more current time reviews, it looks like a mixed bag of really positive and really negative reviews for that dealership.)

I am in NE Indiana, and we have had many 90-degree days this July and August. The Avalon Touring I traded on 13Jul24 for my ES350 had black seats. The Avalon was an upgraded Camry, which made it a step between the Camry XLE's I had previously owned and the ES350. The front seats were heated but not cooled. I think the perforated seat cushions helped a lot to add comfort on a long trip. The car got very hot when parked in the sun, but the A/C cooled it down very quickly, so I never minded the black interior. I never opened the roof shade or the top glass. The leather steering wheel never got very hot while parked, but the metal wheel trim could be too hot to touch if the sun had been hitting it.

My gray ES350 has the macadamia interior, which could be called white, and the cushions are perforated like the Avalon. The front seats have automatic cooling and heating. We bought the car on a hot day and drove 90 miles from the dealer to our home. I immediately appreciated the cooled seats and the adjustable front extension on the driver seat. I am happy with my new Lexus.

Thanks for the inputs. My thought is if I were to get a darker color car such as Caviar or Obsidian, then might as well go a all black interior.

My primary color is white if I can find a Palomino/Acorn interior. Will also consider sunlit green, nightfall mica. Not a lot of L or UL available right now since 24s are on the way out and 25s are just coming in. Get $3K off for a model year older doesn't motivate me too much. Might just order a 25 with the color I want or wait for firm news on 26 redesign and then decide.

My IS has Macadamia interior with cooling and heating seats. Nice to have in the summer but a headache to maintain with kids.

supply v demand will always win. so buy when that ratio is good. no one gives money away for free. you can go on the dealers website and check inventory and do research on current values

So many of the cars have black interiors. I wanted the palomino one but was told it was special order and could take maybe at least 12 weeks, If I was lucky. Not a lot of cars around. So I took an outside color I liked, Moonlight beige with a black interior. Actually, it has been fine. It looks nice. Has been ok over the hot summer. A bit hot when I first enter car if I am like in shorts, but cools off right away. Shows more lint and dust than a lighter color, but it does look nice. I am happy.

True data. It comes down to how motivated dealers are to sell vs how bad I want it. Right now according to my search, dealers are not that motivated to move 2025s. And I don't want it that badly unless it is the right config (L or UL) with preferred colors.

Moonlight beige is a nice color. Not that common in the lots. Most are white, gray or caviar/obsidian.

You are so correct.......Where I was looking it was basically all grey and dark colors. I liked the green one and the beige one. The only "different" color they had was the beige and I grabbed it.
