Best glue to fix a/c vent

I like E6000, clear gel, very strong and use sparingly. Look it up online and read about it. I would maybe apply a small amount with a toothpick. It can be bought at Walmart or a hobbie / craft store.

Something similar happened to me too (don't know how), so I tried to use the instant cyanoacrylic glue but the results were not very satisfactory. The glue was visible outside the damaged area so eventually I bought used vents and replaced them.
