Just followed a guide to replace my knock sensors on my 01 GS430. Everything seemed to be pretty straight forward until I started the car. Now the engine makes a ticking/knocking sound. What could this be? I replaced some evap hoses and the knock sensors.

I just went outside and started the car again. The sound became intermittent as the engine was warming up then it went away when the engine was fully warmed up. Something with the lifters?

You only replaced the knock sensors? It sounds like something may have dropped into the open intake port while you had the manifold off or something like that, have you figured this out yet?
