The front has an UTQG - Uniform Tire Quality Grading - treadwear index of only 140.
Keeping in mind that 200 will wear half as quickly as 100.

Hence, a treadwear index of only 140 wears pretty quickly.
Thus, the RE050A's are a very soft compound with short mileage.
This should provide grip in dry and wet and very good ride and noise.
However, the mileage is limited.
When the tread blocks wear down, a harder compound at the base will kick in, so these tires will be very noisy on smooth but coarse surfaces, indicating time for a replacement set of tires.

The front tire's 94W and the rear's 96W load and speed rating of only 270 kph metric means the carcass/construction is quite flexible for decent ride.
More rigid than a V's 240 kph speed rating, but not as rigid as a Y's 300 kph speed rating with a more rigid construction.

Potenza RE050A's are OEM for 4GS, especially the original F Sport trim from 2013-15.

So this is basically the same model as the OE tires that came with the car, maybe the OE was XL load rating (can't really remember).

Even though the treadwear rating is only 140, I drove my first set for over 30K miles before switching to a new set of General G-Max RS with a treadwear rating of 360.

The G-Max RS wore about the same rate as the OE Bridgestone RE050A, had to switch to a new set after around 25K miles.

Could have driven another 5-10K more miles but got a good deal on a new set of Potenza Sport about a year ago.

For less than $500 a set... that is a GREAT price, even if they only last 10-15K.
