Porsche Panamera looks and size
it's a shame the panamera is so ugly because it's an unbelievably good driving car for its size, and even not for its size! a noticeable level above the S-class but yes the ride (and especially seat comfort) does suffer in comparison

I don't know. SG seems to praise the Porsche by a lot. Not just in terms of performance, but also the ride. He said with air suspension, Porsche has one of the best ride quality in its class, so I would naturally assume he means against the S and the 7er. I do firmly believe the S probably rides a little better but not by much, while in handling the Porsche would easily run circles around the Merc.

No other system is like it, yet....everyone else will catch up but for now it's unrivaled.

This is why I always wanted Porsche to offer a mid size sport sedan. It would have the best performance and handling in its class.

I remember SG and his surly mechanic being super impressed by the ride quality of the Cayman GT4. It didn't beat the crap out of them at all. I've never driven a Panamera but I'm assuming it's got great handling for its size.

hands down they've improved it over time but the overall shape is just
also it's a shame only the first gen had that high revving N/A 4.8 engine in the GTS, that is a lovely powerplant right there and those high rpms are just exquisite

Just anecdotal evidence, but since we're talking about the Panamera, my buddy's 2019 Panamera 4s with the V6 Turbo motor just had a valve spring failure. The bill for the dealer to rebuild his engine is 12k. They also offered to by the car off of him as is for 18k. Poor guy spent over 90k on that sucker back in 2021. It of course it gives up right after the warranty ended (he had the certified used car warranty through Porsche).
He decided to sell it himself and just picked up a Lucid Air.
Yes, my friend likes to own highly depreciating liabilities haha.
