Default extended warranty

Hello guys,
Yesterday I left my car for maintenance 60TKm and got the news that my warranty is extended up to 15 years/250TKm...
Do you have the same treatment out there?

In USA one can purchase an extended warranty, when new or on a used car. Lexus may also extend a warranty on certain parts.

That's most likely on the hybrid traction battery. You ought to know the specifics though by asking them not us.

'Relax' warranty? How much did you pay for it.

nothing...it is just a part of the sale contract! The car was sold with three years of warranty, but after each maintenance the warranty is prolonged to next service. Originally all this had 10 years and 160tkm, now, from 01.09.2024 Lexus extended the relaxed warranty until 15 years and no more than 250,000 km
Today I paid 760 euros for the service and get the next appointment next September 2025...with the full spec of warranty

That is a very good warranty!
What did they do for this service visit? 760 Euros is approximately $840 US.

Thanks

Injector cleaning? Do you use dirty fuel? This is snake oil. Pure profit for the dealer.

Perhaps there are places that don't have the highest grade of detergent fuel?
perhaps if your going to give a unicorn type warranty that service might prevent issues?

Default Fluid Changes

I can’t wait to get my brake fluid changed. So do I have to blindly believe that my dealer does this work?
Seems they could furnish a video of this work being performed since customers aren’t allowed in the service department.
A window in the customer lounge looking into the service department would be nice.
Complete fluid changes can get pretty costly.
Trans, diffs, coolant, brakes, turn signals…..
