92-93 Dashboard Harness
Does anyone know if there's a difference between the 92-93 5 speed and automatic dash harnesses from drivers side to passenger side? Are they interchangeable?
My 92 SC300 5-speed has a messed up dash harness and I'm trying to see if I can swap out the harness from a 92 auto sc300.

Which harness exactly? The one that mostly runs against the firewall or the one that connects to the cluster, switch gear and stuff in the console?
look up part numbers here

Can probably interchange harnesses between years IF the cars have the same options.

Both of them, I found a 92 SC300 donor car and I want to swap the harnesses and dashboard.
Currently my harness connectors are broken that connect to the gauge cluster, and the wires connecting to the driver's floor fuse box were spliced horribly, causing some problems.
I checked anyama and it looks like there are two harnesses behind the dash.

You'd probably have a better time just re-soldering and repairing the broken bits. Something that I ran into today that is different between 5 speed and auto is the location of the tilt and telescoping ECU. Auto its in the drivers footwell, manual its in the passenger footwell.

You'll be getting this at a salvage yard so either way you "win". You'll have a spare harness to use for parts or you'll have a harness to swap.
