They're behind the inner fender liner, you'll need to remove part of it or all of it to access it.

In the rear it goes through a grommet and into the body itself, but on the front surprisingly it's just out in the open. If you trace the wire to where it goes up you can probably peel it back enough to see. It's the same part for 2001-2007 Highlander and 2004-2009 RX as well despite the part no. differences.

Mattrx...so it's NOT underneath the wheel-well, plastic panel? Right now the wheel well is nicly encrusted with rustproofing, mixed with dirt! Hahahah

I don't have access to my diagrams right now but they are indeed behind the plastic panel at the upper middle of the wheel house

Update, i put in a new batter and got a new abs sensor in there.
it's gotten better, the abs does kick in from time-to-time, but better than before.
i took the scan tool to it after, like before, the right(front) sensor (the new one), still has a drop, below about 6 km/h (drops to 0km/h). I also examined the tone ring, and looks good...no cracks or breaks in it.
so...if it's not the sensor or the tone ring...what else can be causing this???
ps...the brakes have been bleed.
