Simple as it sounds on my Sc 430 came with a broken engine cover when I got i. I sourced a new one but when trying to attach it it seems the driver side mounting bolt surface devise is missing ,, Can someone post a picture of their current SC sans the cover and pertaining to what the two bolts screw into on the cover? oddly youtube shows many with the cover attached
Do you have the studs that @BGW circled, if so you just need the acorn nuts he showed at the bottom of his picture. If you don't have the studs, not a big problem. Take one of the ones you still have to ace hardware and you can probably buy replacement studs.
If you are missing the bracket the studs go into, that is a different problem.

i did a quick check and it looks like brackets and nuts are still available. Here is the illustrated parts breakdown. You can order online, LOOK ON EBAY, go to your dealer or a salvage yard.
the parts fit on the LS430,GS430 and SC430
i checked the new price on one of them and it was about $6
