Default Help with TPMS

Hi all,

I have replaced my all TPMS sensors but before that, I registered all sensors by using the Toyota techstream.

I drove the car for hundred KMs but the light still there with same codes.

what I can do?

New update

i used obd2 scanner to read the live data and I found that sensor ID# 1,3,4 are giving readings.

for the sensor #2 I checked the sensor ID code and it’s registered correctly.

I remembered the car involved into an accident and replaced front right fender + door

as per my search in the net, there is antenna near the tyre.

where it is located exactly? And could it be the reason?

If you registered the sensors and turned the car off the ECU didn’t get a chance to receive a signal back from the sensor. You need to register the IDs while the vehicle is on. DO NOT turn the car off. Go for a 20-30 minute drive and see if the light turns off. Also make sure if you have a 2nd/main switch it’s in the correct position

I didn't do anything like this. I had the sensors in the front seat, registered them using Techstream on 2nd set, and had the tire shop install them about 3 weeks later. Zero issues.

OP - no, I don't know where the antennas are but take a look at these, there is mention of receiver, I'm not sure it's the one in question though.

You did select the usage yes? Main or second set...

Even though the vehicles are similar the sequence matters on some. You’re never going to get a solid answer why but it happens. I would start doing the relearn properly and then trouble shoot from there. I’ve seen way too many people go down a rabbit hole over something I fixed in 2 minutes.

OP - be sure to clear the main and 2nd set codes (2126 2127) before trying again. Hopefully you kept the ID's and can just paste them in.

Mine is a 0211 IS-250C convertible here in the UK.

Some solid advice from the Service Manager at my local dealership. Don't bother with aftermarket sensors, only the Lexus ones work reliably. Problem is they, together with hourly rates makes for a very expensive outing.

I just leave the warning light on, knowing that my tyres and pressures are in good shape.
