Default 98 Celsior issues after timing belt and camshaft seal change

I recently had the timing belt and camshaft seals changed on my 98 Celsior and now I am getting a high, rough idle while in park. After a little bit of driving I get a message on the dash that translates to "Engine System", VSC warning message and traction control off. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on? The car runs good when driving and feels more responsive than before. Any help appreciated.

Also, how do I check for codes on this thing? I cant use an OBDII scanner. I saw something about bridging Tc and E1 on the diagnostic in the engine bay, but how do I go about that?

Something else I just observed while driving is when in drive and stopped, the car shakes pretty bad but when that "Engine System" error pops up it stops shaking.

Sorry for your trouble. Sounds like the cam timing is off or skipped. I'd check it strictly removing the timing belt cover.
