Default Service Recall - MIL ON w/DTC P05CE00 Software Update

I was just notified today about a new recall for the NX350. The software update is detailed below.

Description
The Engine Control Computer software has a programing error which can cause the exhaust variable valve timing (VVT) locking pin to temporarily get stuck. When this happens, an engine malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) can appear on the dashboard as well as diagnostic trouble code (DTC), P05CE00 to be set.
Remedy
Any authorized Lexus dealer will update the Engine Control Computer software FREE OF CHARGE.

Had the fix done this AM. Was at the dealership for about an hour. As expected, no apparent change in the engine's performance. I have not experienced the hesitation issue that others have commented on.

Did the hesitation issue arise for others after the update?

I just checked my App and no recall for my 2023 NX-350, does this not apply to the 2023 model? I have the turbo 4 cylinder motor and it is not a hybrid.

I had the software update done over a week ago, and I haven't noticed any hesitation issues or changes in engine performance.
