I've been helping my brother-in-law (BIL) find a good used, 7th Gen ES for months now. He likes the idea of a premium package or luxury trim, but he doesn't want the pano roof. Question: Is it a fool's errand looking for this combination? Seems like every ES we have found worth test driving has been a base model. We've driven F-Sports with premium options and no pano, but, my BIL didn't like the feel of the F-Sport.

Too, he is limiting the search to Atomic Silver paint, in the mid-to-high $30's, and doesn't want a previous rental. Couple all that with the fact that Covid had severely limited production during this time frame, and it seems we're searching for a unicorn!

Any advice from those who might be familiar with the 7th Gen configurations, and the ES used-car market?

F-Sport Handling or Design trim? Apparently there's online review consensus that the F-Sport Handling is somewhat firmer/rough since it has the Adaptive Variable Suspension ($$$ to replace).

Maybe... Unfortunately there's limited inventory on luxury sedans compared to SUV's.
