Need to replace the rear brake DUST PLATES, do the center axle nut hav to come off.?

Hey folks, The car is in desperate need of dust plate on rear, Do we have to remove the center axle bolt (12 pt) in addition to the 4 other bolts to get to it.? Apparently it need a special 12pt socket if thats the case.

It's a 30mm twelve point, everything has to come off like you mentioned. Not worth it IMO unless you need a new bearing/hub assembly

Got to do it cuz all salt grime has made its way & will only get worse if i dont take care of it
