Default 07 Diff question?

So I had my SC on quickjacks today, and I was attempting to check for suspension wear by trying to move the wheels while hanging. I was surprised to find that when rotating the rear wheels back and forth there was a clunk from under the car. Seems to have excessive play in the pinion bearing. Car has 118k. Is this a common problem at this mileage?

Nope, it could just need a need a new carrier bearing or cv joint or something. U had to put it on jackstands? Usually if you just shift into gear while going backwards, wi th out coming to a stop, will crest a pretty clunk if there is any slip in your drivetrain.
