Default Traffic noise from drivers door

First post. Purchased a certified 2024 es300h with about 11,000 miles about two weeks ago and am loving it. One thing I've noticed. When driving at speeds over about 30 it seems I can hear traffic noise coming in the other direction at the drivers door more than expected. Coming from a Honda CRV, I didn't expect that. I checked to see that the seals around the door and frame are in place and they are. Also checked that the door is closing properly.

I plan to take it back to the dealer, but wondering if anyone has experienced something like this and might suggest what it may be. Thanks

I’ve heard of it, and it might be caused by the door seal not being properly fitted. It’s at least worth a check. It shouldn’t happen, but the deals can look okay but still not be situated just right, allowing noise or wind intrusion. Since it’s a new car I’d tell the dealer to check it out.

Thanks, I made an appointment to take it in next week, no sense in me trying to fix it.

I hear traffic via the doors as well on the highway. Will be interested to hear if you are able to do anything to improve it. My initial thoughts were "It's louder than I prefer, but that is just what this car is. If you want quieter, I would need to upgrade to the LS which is much, much heavier."

Basically I see this as a necessary trade-off. Report back if you can!

Let us know what you find, my ES impressed me when the first car passed on the highway. It was so quiet it made me smile.
