Hello, as the winter approaches, started looking for winter tires and wheels packages for my 2025 NX450H+ ultra. Does anyone know if TPMS sensors are not installed on winter tires, the vehicle would still function normally, except that there will be continuous TPMS warning on dashboard? I tried reaching out to Costco and Canadian Tire but their systems still don't have full information about the 2025 model and have limited advice to offer. I plan to visit Lexus dealer but before that wanted to have some advance information.

On my 2024 nx450+ I was thinking of just buying winter tires and using the same rims and tpms. That's what I did in my 2016 rx350.

Always best to have 2 sets of complete tires and wheels. These cars are again equipped to handle 2 sets of sensors. I have a second set of winter tires on Lexus wheels with Lexus TPMS. In my case both are 20" wheels. Swapping tires on and off from one set of rims risks damage to the tires and the wheels. Just my opinion, though.
