Any idea how to DIY fix of fan noise or baffle whining after the car is turned off. Only last 5 to 10 seconds then stops. Also noise when the fan on in cold weather. Once I turn up the heat above 75 it stops.

Is is more like a clicking noise?

This sounds similar to my air mix servo issue.

EDIT: Just noticed you said the noise continues after the car is turned off, if that is the case than the servo is not the cause.

one other thing is check your cabin filter and see if leaves or debris has fallen into the fan area.

I'm just curious, has anyone concerted to an electric fan kit? and what is the advantages of keeping the current system? Asking for friend
