I owned a 2010 RX350 AWD NAV Premium package I don't know color names, but the exterior was silver and interior was grey. I loved it, but I drive a lot, had 90k on it, and decided I wanted something newer with less miles.

Bought a 2013 CPO RX350 AWD, Premium, Comfort, Nav package. Beautiful jet black exterior. 33k on the ODO.

Some first impressions:

Updated front and rear styling is very nice. Taillights have a classy look.

Mouse controller lost the 'Enter' button, now we push down on it. I think I miss the enter key.

The separate Off button for the Climate control is welcome.

Updated head unit has a fresher interface. Like how when on Audio screen you can see more info about what is playing. Haven't gotten to the apps and whatever other new functions this offers.

Sound deadening seems to be even better than the '10's.

Losing the sunglasses holder for the Safety Connect button kinda sucks.

No more RES? Was told it wasn't even an option any longer on '13+s?

It has HID's, but the AFS system is gone in the 13+'s and the high beams (at least in mine) are no longer HID but now a separate halogen next to the HID.

You need to have Luxury package to have the auto smog sensing climate control (now just have a manual push button fresh air/recirculate). I don't think my '10 had the Luxury package, but had this function.

Overall, I'm happy to have my '13. Those who know our cars know it's newer, having almost 60k less miles is welcome and the black on black looks great.

Auto sensing climate control is greatly missed. Even my 99 GS had it and we forgot how well it worked. Now, I have to be reaching for the button again after 13 years of not sucking in diesel exhaust in my 99. To me, there isn't a bigger failure on Lexus part. To be considered luxury and not have this, unless stepping up all the way to the luxury package? The auto sensing wipers are missed too, but I can live with that one. I'm getting used to the navi and learned to avoid voice recognition and I'm way happier with it. Otherwise love our RX.

Yes, Lexus trim mess of Japan manufacturer is well documented and doesn’t make sense at all after 2010 model year and up. It appears the most important features could be a part of the certain pkg, could be not without any logic as you pointed out even older model years have some features without to be a part of any pkg. and this misleading pkg name, when you hear Premium Plus pkg you think it should be more than Luxury pkg and so forth, but not?

I upgraded from a black 2010 RX350 AWD to a white 2015 RX350 AWD. Both have the same premium packages with NAV, soft leather,wood-grain steering and heated/cooled seats. I like that my 2015 has a few more updated features like BSM and the updated headlights. I actually like that my high beams are halogen lights paired with the HID low beams. I upgraded my high beam halogens for some hyper yellow bulbs that add contrast to objects on the road in the poor visibility conditions like heavy rain and snow/ice.

On my 2010 I used yellow fog-lights halogen bulbs for that purpose of adding contrast to wet roads; but the the 2015 have useless bright-white LED fog-lights which just causes glare on wet roads.

My old 2010 RX350 AWD. I actually like the clean basic front grill better than my 2015 model. Both have the same(or similar) light colored leather interior with black dash.

My current 2015 RX350 AWD. I made it bit more modern looking by upgrading to the newer style 20in wheels.
