Cylinder miss fire after rain, rough idle. Water in spark plugs.
Hello CL members, I got a problemo. 98 Gs300, I park my car at an angle like where the tail/back end is at a highier elevation than the front. Whenever it rains water goes into my engine bay, and fills up the spark plugs. Normally would need to take the engine cover off, and blow the air out using compressed air. Do I need a new gasket? If so for where? Part number? Thanks so much in advanced.

It happened to our late '98 GS300.
Water would fill #5 and #6 and cause misfire in #5 or #6
At first I thought it was coolant, but no it was water, rain water.
I traced it back to a drain hole in the hood; that when closed water in the hood would drain on the motor.
I used RTV to fill the hole. Problem solved.
On my GS400 I have water marks on the engine cover from the same drain hole...

I can’t seem to locate the hole that you are talking about, and this issue is driving me crazy. Is there any way you could show me please?
thanks
