PreCollision System Unavailble
I just had this warning pop up today. According to the owner's manual, if a warning tone had sounded (it did not though) it automatically means a dealer visit. The message did not include a "sensor" error but I went ahead and cleaned both the windshield camera and the forward looking radar "Lexus" emblem; no help.
Interestingly enough radar cruise still works. Multiple restarts have not cured the issue.
Anyone have any experience with this?
Many thanks,
Eric

Are you sure you didn't accidentally turn it off? I intentionally turned off mine permanently and have to acknowledge this every time I drive. It would seem a bit unlikely though, as I had to wade through some menus to do it.

Well - upon start-up this morning, the PCS Unavailable message was still present. Miraculously and at some point after about 10 miles, the message went away. Even better, it worked on the way home.
FWIW the owners manual states the system may become unavailable if the car is started but does not move for an extended period of time, which had occurred the day prior. Despite multiple starts and a couple of short drives, it's possible the system needed a longer driving period to (re) calibrate. For the moment, problem solved...
Lobuxracer - thanks for the suggestion; much appreciated.

On my '24 TX I get a "System Stopped see owner's manual" message with a picture of the front pre collision sensor in the display.
Dealer says Lexus is aware and they are working on a fix. They had me turn off the Auto Stop/Start feature (they said the voltage drop triggers the issue) but that only helps somewhat.
