how to remove 2010 navigation module
Hey folks, I bought an aftermarket android head unit, stuck on this part where i have to access the cables behind the navigation module (not the stereo/climate module). I also dropped one of the 10mm screws holding the stereo/climate module, anybody where to get a replacement screw?

When I need to replace a lost screw, the best way is to hope there are others just like it on the component. Then remove one and take it with you to the hardware or auto parts store and try to match them up.
If you have a bunch of leftover screws of various sizes laying around (I have hundreds) just try fitting them in until, if you are lucky, one fits. There are only so many common screw sizes.
Or get one of those extension wands with a magnet on the end and go fishing for the screw. That tool has saved me more than once when I lost a screw or bolt into the bowels of some vehicle.
Or, as I have done on other occasions, I leave out the missing screw and usually never notice it is missing.
Good luck and I hope your mod works.
