I didn't talk price yet on my 2023 RX reservation, will deal with that once a car comes in. But Lexus has to move a lot of this model to be viable, it's their bread and butter car, and based on what I see on dealer lots - the NX isn't selling too well.

Did Anyone Pay Below M.S.R.P for their 2023 RX
Did anyone pay below M.S.R.P. for their 2023 RX? Wife was able to bargain $2k below which surprised me. We bought a 2023 Nori Green Premium + with 21" wheels and other options.
After signing the paperwork, I asked the Finance Manager what the Invoice price was, we actually did pretty good...we were ~$1,500 away from invoice.

Good deal. I didn't talk price until my car comes in.

350 for me. The 350h is only going to be 17% of production (Lexus has badly underestimated demand for it I think, especially at the same price as the 350awd) - I would have gone for the hybrid, but the waiting list is going to be a lot longer for that over the gas only.

Very true 👍, initially ordered along with my parents a 350h in Copper, luxury. One is arriving in early January. Ordered through Longo Lexus ( El Monte, Ca) and they honor MSRP. Crazy as it may seem, I had preorder (2) 350h in July of 2022 and I was 24th and 25th in line. I couldn't imagine what the pre order line is now at Longo Lexus.

Finance Rates for 2023 Lexus RX350/350h
Hi, I’m getting ready for a 350h to be delivered to the dealership in the coming weeks and interested in hearing about the rates being offered. I know the 2022s have manufacturer incentive financing rates starting at 2.9% for 48 months but curious about what I should be expecting for the 2023 model and how much negotiating room there is. With rates going up, I know I’ll have to take these numbers with a grain of salt.

Ordering a 2023RX
I think I’d like to order a 2023RX350h. I want the “Smokey Granite” type color (I forget what it’s currently called) with dark leather. In other words, I pretty much have to order the vehicle.
I’m in Pittsburgh. I bought my current RX in Cleveland. So I’ll go to any reasonable dealer in the northeast. Also I’m often in Atlanta so that could work. I will not pay more than MSRP.
Is there currently any way to actually do this and how long will it take? Am I delusional?

If it wasn’t a hybrid you MAY have some luck. But even then I would suspect wanting a specific interior and exterior color combination, or even specific equipment would be a tough go. When I put my deposit on my 350h in early November, I was told I had hit the hybrid lottery just right because I was fourth in line. I had to settle on the color that was being produced. I didn’t get to choose. I also ended up with a 350h luxury with virtually every option to get the one option (panorama camera) I wanted.
My vehicle is being built tomorrow and I suspect it will be at least a month before I see it, I don’t know that what you are asking is impossible, but I suspect it’s highly unlikely for this model year for the hybrid.

That's what I suspected. I'll probably keep my 24,000 mile, 30 month-old 2020 for another year. To 3.5 years.

When I walked into my Lexus dealer the Salesman stated “all Lexus are selling for msrp except the LC”. The funny thing is I was just browsing and not in the chair dealing. MSRP is over market and the gx, es and Is selling well below Mrkt on true car. Will the dealer put a negative market adjustment on the sticker? They might in 6 months. Of course car dealers want you to think msrp is good deal and it is compared to 1st quarter 2022, before the fed raised rates 7 times and 425 basis points. A lot has changed all within 2022.
