Has anybody on this forum purchased Lexus extended warranty ( Vehicle Service Agreement or VSA) for their NX?
I am curious about coverage duration and prices. I casually asked my dealer about 10y/100k coverage and they told me they no longer offer it. Maximum is 8y/75k.

You don't have to purchase Lexus extended warranty from your dealer, it can be bought from another Lexus/Toyota dealer.
I inquired from three places that I found on-line. For NX 450H+ all three came back with the same pricing below. That was back in November, I don't know if the terms or prices are still the same.

I showed the finance manager information about Jerry from an earlier post on this forum and he matched it! I realize that most extended warranties are house money, but with the supply chain issues and the amount of technology in our rides, we went ahead and purchased.

Mistake

You don't need to purchase the warranty on delivery. Purchase it before the original warranty expires. Who knows. You may hate the car in 4 years. Or trade up.

True, but felt confident about the car and purchase. Additionally, you can get a refund on the unused portion of the policy if you sell or have a total.

I thought about waiting, but bought soon after getting the NX 350h. I was concerned about any possible prices increases if I waited for 4 years.

I got it from Jerry the Lexus Plat VSC for 10 YEARS 125,000 MILES at $3,460.00. I do see the quote for the 450h+ is about $1000 higher. Not sure if that was a price increase or just that the 450H= is more expensive being a plug-in.

BTW, recommend Jerry highly. Super nice guy and answered all my many questions with great patience and promptness.

I emailed Jerry Johnson couple months ago without any response. Haven't tried calling yet.
I bought my '23 NX350h on 12/14/22 and already have 32,000 miles on it. Time to get the extended warranty.
I'll be emailing him again and see if he responds.

Yep...great suggestion unless the buyer wants to add into payments. Our NX is going after 1000m ... The Multi Shield is being Pro-Rated back to us.
We bought some kind of warranty with our Macan... cost $1100 (on top of the cost of the warranty) to save $200. Whatever warranty you choose... try to understand what's involved. Research reviews before buying. They look and sound good until they are needed.
