I recently bought a 2014 LS460. The previous owner replaced the drivers headlight. The drivers headlight LED DRL is super bright and looks great. The passenger side headlight LED DRL is dim and more yellow.

Is the passenger side burned out?

Has anyone taken the headlight apart and used an aftermarket LED strip to replace the OEM setup?

 

These aren't meant to be repairable. (though anything is possible). The entire headlight assembly gets replaced. It's recommended that both sides get replaced with the same brand of headlights. LED lights have different color temperatures, so simultaneous replacement ensures a color match.

 

That sucks! I guess I will be taking them apart and installing some Diode Dynamic led strips. I’ll make a diy.

I have same issue but the opposite. My passenger is new and brighter lol we could swap.
