Here are mine, Lexus OEM puddle lights and illuminated door sills installed by my dealer. IMO they look awesome, most noticeable after dusk and although these are simply cosmetic they do add that little extra something every time you or a guest enter the vehicle. I’d say go for it!

You mentioned this option was installed by the dealer.. Was the car originally built/ordered with these? My car to be built does not have this and wonder if the dealer can install after delivery. If you did install after, how much did they charge for this?
My dealer told me they don’t install them at the factory, they get installed after delivery by either yourself or your dealer. FYI the online prices for these accessories include labour for installation so your better of getting your dealer to install them. Side puddle lamps were $188, illuminated door sills $354 CND plus taxes.

So my vehicle does not have that option on my build sticker... And I see your context about the PIO... I wonder if the dealer can still install these options if they were NOT listed as FIO or PIO, as sometimes the electrical harness would not be in the panels to connect these options.
It does. I didn’t take a picture of the cargo area, but you can see how much light I have in there in the picture of the sill lights.
Wow I can see the difference the light in your trunk area. I got these for our 2023 NX 350h bought at a local Lexus dealer. Do you know if they are the same part # for the RX? I am on a three month waiting list for a 350h. The part # is PT94478221 for the NX.
