Default What now?

I had a post in the regional forum about me being in socal this wkend and wanting to meet some fellow lexus enthusiats. I got no repsonse, so I posted in the sc section (since I have an sc). I get an email saying that someone replied to it, click the link to read it, then nothing. I searched other forums looking for the thread, etc.....no avail- it looks as if it's been removed. Maybe I'm complaining about nothing and I missed something, but what rule did I violate here. If it was deleted, I would have to disagree with this because
1)I think things are a bit too rigid here
2) whats the harm in wanting to meet some fellow people- isn't this what the sites all about?

Someone please email me or pm me regarding this (I'm kind of frustrated, maybe I need to see it through from a different perspective)

Thanks,
Tim

sounds like you double posted identical threads and one went poof. Also, you were in the correct spot to begin with, we use only the regional forums for local meets or meet info, topics, questions. double posting, incorrect forum, same post in the correct forum = probably went poof - my guess.

yes sir, thats why we created a regional forum.

I needed to do that since I'm leaving today and didn't get any answers on the regional forum. we all know that not as many people read those as they do the sc forum.
At least I was honest in the message and said I had already posted somewhere- I wouldn't double post if there wasn't a good reason for it.
I get so frustrated with this place sometimes.....

TG in a case like this you could 1) PM the mod and ask him if it would be cool if it stayed there for x days....
or 2) Just put a note in the post asking moderators and admins to leave it for x days.

I am sure we would have all helped......we dont try to make life difficult; we just try to keep it organized...
