Ok, Ederny, I give up, you're right, it IS time to separate the 300 forum from the 330 forum.

300 owners will benefit from just getting information we want quickly while avoiding all those 330 owners posting their problems!

I'm sure the guys on-top are discussing about the splitting of various forums. I think the reason that most forums are kept together is for the simplicity of the overall board (not numerous amounts of different forums to scroll to). For the RX300/RX330, I can understand why members would want a separation. But on another view, many other forums would also need to be separated as well (LS430/LS400, etc.). Just a thought.

LS400, yes it's just time to separate them - all the forums with multiple models - it is just too difficult to locate information.

I find I often skip scanning and reviewing the posts on the 300 CL board because as a Pavlovian response to clicking unidentifiable 300 posts and getting 330 information I don't want or need, I just skip the process.

I agree with you parula. Organization is an important factor.

Personally for me, I like organization but I also hate having to click to access different forums (I guess freaks, such as myself, love to visit almost every single forum. ). In this case, I like having my information clumped together, but then again, that's just me. I understand that everyone has their own personal taste.

Shoot an email/PM to Dave or Ethan and maybe they can try out separating out the forums and see how people like it?

LS I hear you, but, I really think Cl needs to do one of two things on present forums representing two or more different vehicles of the same genre, as I recommended previously in other posts:

1. Require posters to designate which vehicle model the post references when posting to a forum in the current framework and put the model designation on the forum - geez this has to be easy to program folks and readily resolves the matter for the present but then leaves us with 300's out to lunch searching for 300 posts as the 330 model matures over time; or,

2. In a revised forum framework, create a forum for each separate model of each vehicle type, i.e., creating a forum for RX-300 and one for RX330 - FWIW, my preference, imo.
