Seems like there is alot of arguing go on here

name calling

closing of threads based soley on ones opinions or hatred of something

dont really know whats going on

or if this is out of place to say (type) this

i know there is PM to work out differences

i just feel like ....if you have your opinion and it doesnt include cursing or

name calling

then why is something closed ??

if im out of line then delete ........

I think you raise a good point and did it in a non-offenseive way. I really have no response though unfortunately .

Threads get closed when the comments go beyond 'discussion' into full blown arguments. We have the debate forum for typical 'hot topics' like politics, religion, etc. But when threads in any forum go beyond discussion of the topic into name calling, bad feelings, threats, rude personal comments, etc among members we usually step in and close them because they've served their purpose and (because of a couple or more people) have degenerated into a discussion that is no longer productive.

We don't allow new threads on the same or very similar topics to get opened up right away because the flaming and arguing will most likely simply continue on the new thread. Yes, sometimes closing a thread is subjective to the moderator's opinion, but most often is a group decision and discussion among moderators occurs before a thread is closed when it is borderline.

Threads also get closed when they're not work safe or have crude topics or profanity that does not fit into the PG-13 nature of our forum. Duplicate posts / reposts / posts that should be something sent via PM, closed sales, etc also are closed.

We keep ClubLexus a fairly safe environment for people to surf at work or at home with their kids looking over their shoulder. Bottom line, if you want to argue, curse, flame there are LOTS of other places on the internet to look and jump right in.
